Terms of Service

This is an English translation provided for convenience. If there is any discrepancy between this translation and the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the workout logging app REPUP (the "Service") provided by 남윤형 (the "Operator"), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Operator and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "User" means a person who agrees to these Terms, signs up with a Google or Apple account, and uses the Service.
  2. "Records" means workout routines, workout records, body weight, diet, supplement records and other information a user enters into the Service.
  3. "Shared group" means a feature that lets users who joined with an invite code view each other's workout and diet records and routines.

Article 3 (Effect and amendment of the Terms)

  1. These Terms are posted in the app and on the Service's web page, and take effect when the user agrees to them.
  2. The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws, and will announce the changes and their effective date in the app and on the web page starting 7 days before they take effect (30 days before for changes unfavorable to users).
  3. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may delete their account.

Article 4 (Sign-up)

  1. Only people aged 14 or older may sign up.
  2. Sign-up is done by signing in with a Google or Apple account, and users must use only their own accounts.
  3. If it is found that someone used another person's account or is under 14, the Operator may cancel the sign-up.

Article 5 (Contents of the Service)

  1. The Operator provides features including workout routine management, workout, body weight, diet and supplement records and statistics, syncing across devices, shared groups, and Apple Watch and widget integration.
  2. The Service is provided free of charge. If paid features are introduced, the Operator will announce them in advance and obtain separate consent.
  3. The Operator may add or change features to improve the Service, and will announce changes that are important to users in advance.

Article 6 (Suspension of the Service)

  1. The Operator may temporarily suspend the Service for unavoidable reasons such as inspection or replacement of equipment, communication failures, or natural disasters.
  2. If the Operator intends to end the Service, it will announce this in the app and on the web page 30 days in advance and provide a period during which users can review their records.

Article 7 (Shared groups)

  1. When you create or join a group, your group display name, workout records, diet records and routines are visible to members of the same group. Your email, gender, body weight and supplement records are not shared.
  2. Anyone who receives an invite code can join the group, so share invite codes only with people you trust.
  3. The group owner can remove members, and the group is deleted when the owner leaves it.
  4. You must not disclose other users' records seen in a group to outside parties or use them for other purposes without that user's consent.

Article 8 (User obligations)

Users must not engage in the following acts.

  1. Using another person's account or personal information without authorization
  2. Using profanity, hate speech, obscene content, or content that infringes others' rights in group names or display names
  3. Reverse engineering the Service, accessing the server by abnormal means, or interfering with its operation through excessive requests
  4. Violating laws or these Terms

If the Operator identifies any of the above, it may restrict use of the Service or delete the content after prior notice (or after the fact in urgent cases).

Article 9 (Health-related notice)

  1. Records, statistics, growth stages, muscle group displays and other information provided by the Service are for reference only and do not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional exercise or nutrition advice.
  2. Users must exercise and decide on their diet and supplements in light of their own health, and should consult a doctor or other professional if they have a medical condition or abnormal symptoms.
  3. Unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of the Operator, the Operator is not responsible for injuries or health damage arising from exercise or dietary activities a user undertakes with reference to information from the Service.

Article 10 (Management of records)

  1. Rights and responsibilities for records belong to the user who entered them.
  2. The Operator strives to store records safely, but cannot recover records lost for reasons on the user's side, such as losing a device or deleting the app before syncing. Information stored only on the device, such as group cover photos, is erased when the app is deleted.

Article 11 (Account deletion)

  1. Users may delete their account at any time in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or request deletion by email (yoonhyung9775@gmail.com).
  2. When an account is deleted, the account and all records are deleted immediately and cannot be restored. Groups the user owns are also deleted.

Article 12 (Limitation of liability)

  1. The Operator is not liable for failure to provide the Service due to causes beyond its control, such as natural disasters or outages of telecommunications or cloud providers.
  2. The Operator has no obligation to intervene in disputes arising through the Service between users or between users and third parties, and is not liable for damages resulting from them.
  3. Notwithstanding the above, the Operator is liable in accordance with applicable laws for damages caused by its intent or gross negligence.

Article 13 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes relating to use of the Service are resolved in the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of Korea.
